Natural and organic Thea Skincare products laid out at the East Midlands Mother and Baby Show |
On Sunday 16th Thea Skincare made its offline debut at the East Midlands Mother and Baby Show in Nottingham.
The day started very early at 6am with very little sleep the night before, but I was excited as it was going to the first official day Thea Baby Naturals was available to the public.
All products in the Thea Baby Naturals range packed full of natural, organic ingredients |
Visitors were allowed to test out the products for themselves before buying - everyone loved them! |
The doors opened at 9.30am with a rush of early visitors. I was delighted that there was so much interest in Thea Skincare products. I was surprised to learn how many mothers were experiencing skincare problems with their young babies.
I had no idea that skincare for babies was such a big concern. The main concerns that I heard from chatting to the mothers were eczema and having very dry skin to the point of babies scratching incessantly until their skin bled. Some of the mothers were seeking medical advice others just did not know what to do.
The understanding of Paraben and Sulphate Free skincare products is still quite low so many mothers were keen to learn more about the benefits of chemical-free, Natural and Organic Skincare products.
Mothers gathered around the stall to test out the skincare products |
I spoke to the mothers about the benefits of natural skincare for themselves and their infants |
After letting them try out samples of my products and speaking with parents expressing their skincare concerns, it became clear that the most common skincare problems on the day were very dry skin and eczema.
Thea Skincare Super Nourish Hand and Beauty Butter crème (want a free sample? Enter my blog competition - the first 20 will receive a tester of this fabulous cream!) is a fabulously rich but not greasy 76% Organic Butter Crème which is fantastic for very dry skin, stretch marks, and eczema conditions.
The rich properties of Shea butter, cocoa butter, kokum butter, mango butter, avocado oil and carrot oil make this blend of creams the ultimate base for very dry and distressed skin. It has a high level of absorbency into the skin despite its high oil content.
I have always had very dry skin and can relate to some of the problems being mentioned at the Show but since using the Thea Super Nourish products that I created my skin has significantly improved and is perfectly protected for the winter months ahead!

The show was a massive success and I can't wait until the next time! |
